What we do
Action is at the heart of our commitment to communities affected by natural disasters and violence. We strive to create a world where everyone has access to food security, adequate nutrition, drinking water and optimal hygiene conditions, even in emergency situations.
We aim to improve the quality of life and incomes of these communities by actively supporting agro-ecological agricultural production and promoting profitable and competitive value chains.
We strongly believe in inclusion and work to give a voice to the voiceless, with a focus on integrating people with disabilities and older people into disaster risk management and development.
Faced with the challenges of climate change, we adopt resilient practices in agriculture and forestry, contributing to the mitigation of and adaptation to environmental fluctuations.
Our actions in the field :
- Disaster Risk Response
- Strengthening Community and Climate Resilience
- Poverty Reduction
- Social inclusion and gender
- Community health
Our approach
We implement our projects using existing local and non-governmental structures, which we strengthen by building capacity in the field. This approach guarantees the continuity of objectives and results even after the funding period, under the responsibility of our local partners, thus ensuring the sustainability of our actions.
We also use low-cost, replicable and pilot projects to promote good practice. Our evidence-based lobbying aims to influence strategies, programmes, plans and policies at local, national and regional levels to achieve a lasting and significant impact.
Together, we are building a future of solidarity and resilience, where the most vulnerable communities find hope and strength to overcome hardship.
